GEORGIA ROSE WEST

Being a shy, tender and loving person, it has always been important to me that my personality is reflected in my work. To me, it wouldn't feel appropriate creating work that is flamboyant and attention seeking when that is not my character.

Wanting to create objects that would invite people to hold them and make them feel happy and warm, I produced vessels that were neither too small as to appear too delicate to touch, nor too intimidatingly large. The enamel surface enabled me to create beautiful patterns on my sinuous, flowing forms, giving each vessel its own personality.
