Zoe
Newsome is a recent graduate from Middlesex University with degree
in Jewellery. During a four-year course she has spent one year working
within the industry including two summers working abroad at a specialist
fine arts camp in New York. Her final collection saw her interpreting
flowers drawing them with wire into beautiful wearable sculptures.
Having completed her degree her work has been featured in the Graduate
Fashion Week publications. She is currently undertaking an internship
at Philip Treacy Ltd, one of the world’s top milliners.

Skills
I
use a variety of materials, both precious and non-precious. This
year I have focused particularly on copper and silver, utilising
various casting and metal work techniques. Confident in the workshop,
I also have experience in many other materials and techniques within
ceramics, textiles, metalsmithing, paint and plastics. I have produced
work within the CAM workshops.
