My subtle attention to the nature form and material gives my gestures a strong visible presence. Although the shape and finished of my works alludes to the natural world with bright surface - bird, fish, stalagmites, moss or coral reefs - the majority of my original materials are the result of big quantity cut wood leaf, colored by more than twenty times painted and sanded layers. It is informed by the traditional Chinese lacquer craft, which became a highly artistic craft since Shang Dynasty (ca.1600–1046BCE) in China. This technique creates a paradox in the object: although handcrafted in a time consuming process, the laquered surface almost looks perfectly like plastic. In one of my recent pieces, The Queen(2013), joins more than hundreds of rhomboidal leaf to evoke an powerful polar bear. Similarly, Big Fish (2012), I fashion a sprawling vegetal irregular chain by regular construction. During this process, the many hours of crafted constructed-wood expended on making these fragments, objects charge them with a corresponding power - through a level of detail, a surprising likeness. The simple material loading ideas, and thoughts filters through, are translated into a artistic object which is able to speak by itself.

Big Fish
(brooch series)

It has happened to me, while talking solitary walks through the park, I always love to approach to the lake with my own curiosity of the fishes inside of the water, that I would suddenly stop in my tracks when I see them, my interest of approaching is enough to disturb the fishes, they are frighten, a shoalbroke up. I have always only seen the fish-tails move away. Despite all this, the beauty of the impression enough for me to be creating. With every artistic expression, whether it concerns music, literature or the visual arts, it's first of all a question of sending a message to the outside world, that is to say, making a personal thought, a striking idea, an inner emotion visible to others in a sensual manner.

The Queen

Once it had been discovered that construction simultaneously holding and shaping simple elements could form objects that represented existing things, it would have been evident that imaginative control could be exerted over the world. The suggestion that it might be possible to influence events in the world must have been overwhelming. Thus, by its very nature, to process matter was potency. The ability to affect the behaviour of matter further by transforming it through heat gave durability to that potential. < The Queen > is the unique collection pieces that push the boundaries between art and design into contemporary jewellery practice.

Happiness tends to lie in the little things in life: the Sun breaking through;
the trees turning green again; the smiling of a kid; certatinly, there is
someone loves you....

Based on the exhibition "35 years Ra", that brings me the chance to create
the 5 pieces of brooch with my own joy and contented.

It is suggestive of someone who spent many nights as a child reading fantasy novels by the dim light of a flashlight. This collection seem to spring from my own imagination, while my delicate, humble materials oddly and obediently follow suit. But this works do not arrive fully formed, bear the traces of an organic, time- consuming creative process. They introducing my ongoing fantasy narrative to you.
