During my time at University I became very interested in combining used plastics and precious metals in my work and since 2006 I have been researching various and unique ways of creating crystallized surfaces to resemble geode crystals with these two materials.
I have also been researching the ancient Art form of Micro Mosaic for many years, adding my own modern slant by using a range of materials to make tiny mosaic pieces. 

My designs are inspired by the magnificent plant life and endless wonders of the Hawaiian Islands where I studied and lived for nine months
