KATRINE STANDAHL

Katrine Standahl, Norwegian Designer, finished her Bachelor degree in Jewellery And Accessories design at Middlesex University London, June 2013.
Katrine is inspired by materials and the possibilities to create something new by combining different materials into one piece. She is using old techniques and old machines to create new and wearable jewellery. All the possibilities within different materials make her curious and constantly wanting to explore new ways of making.

It is really important to her that the jewellery designs are wearable for the buyer, so it can be everyday use jewellery.

This collection is made of Black African exotic wood with 14ct and 18ct round gold wire inlay.  Black African Wood is considered to be among the hardest and densest of woods in the world, which results in long lasting jewellery.
