Hi I’m Leonie I’m 22 and I love books, films, comedy, making clothes and jewellery! I have recently moved to south London after spending my uni years in Hackney and am currently fitting in other work with my jewellery to fund it. I have just finished studying for a BA in Jewellery At London Metropolitan University.

3rd-6th June 08: New Designers
New Designers is the foremost event in graduate design showcasing the work, energy and talent of some 4000 designers every July at the Business Design Centre, London N1. – Source: www.newdesigners.com

June 08: BA Degree show.
Showcasing my latest work alongside my fellow students.

Summer 07/08: Work for sale at Nine tattoo parlour in Brighton.
Alongside a showcase of local artists.

18th-19th Aug 07: Wood Design Workshops and Mettle Studios summer open workshop.
I was a guest artist at their annual Summer Open Workshop, displaying brooches and earrings for sale, made in my spare time at the work experience I did there.

Dec 06-Jan 07: Exhibition in the Swansea Grand Theatre.
I made an on commission collection for the festive period at the Swansea Grand Theatre, with 4 of my fellow students, situated in 5 cases in the foyer

June 06: Designers of the Future Catwalk Show, The Cobden Club W10.
Co designed and produced the catwalk booklet, featuring the designer’s piece and information. Also helped organise the models backstage with makeup and dressing.
