About Us

Sarah Herriot

Sarah came to jewellery design as a second career after working as a software designer . She is self taught, attending short courses along the way where necessary. She has been working for 4 years as a fulltime jewellery designer/maker.

Recent courses include all the Rhino 3D courses at Holts Academy as well as completing a Laser Welding course.

All her recent work with the Egg Series has been designed using Rhino 3D and rapid prototyping

Sarah has won the Fine Jewellery IJL Special Award at the 2008 Carftsmanship & Design Awards from the Goldsmiths Craft and Design Council, sponsored by IJL. In 2008 she also won the award Trade Professional – Finished Piece at the Holts Academy Awards.

Sarah has been chosen as one of 12 jewellery designers to participate in Future In The Making 2007-2009. This is a two year London Development Agency (LDA) funded programme which has been conceived to help established designers move into new markets and grow their businesses effectively. This project will allow Sarah to move into new areas of design and allow her access to industry experts, manufacturers and retailers. Future In The Making is an initiative under the Jewellery Sector Investment Plan (JSIP), a regional project aimed at revitalising the London jewellery and allied industry and to improve its competitiveness. £3 million has been secured from the LDA to support a comprehensive program stimulating demand and growing capacity
