I draw in wax… thus enabling me to creating my wearable Micro sculptures. My pieces explore the emotional tension between beauty and decay, life and death.
Although each collection has a theme, each individual piece differs to have a life of its own. The complexity and detail of form reflect a fascination of growth and decay.This becomes particularly apparent with the wax and latex neckpieces. These pieces darken and deteriorate with time, confronting the viewer with the inevitable loss and deterioration of form.
